A research from the concerned organization says that currently India has substituted the UK as the leading nation of origin involving petitions for 457 Permits in Australia. And, as per the official website of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP), the 457 Permit or the Temporary Work (skilled) Permit (subcategory 457) enables a qualified worker to take a trip to Down Under to do a job in the nominated line-of-work, for the permitted sponsor, for a maximum of 4 years.
As per new 457 Visa numbers, at 23.3%, people from India get close-to a quarter,or 25% of the skilled permits. The same was duly followed by the candidates from the UK at 18.3%, and the workers from the People’s Republic of China at 6.5%. In addition, during 2012-13, 40,100 candidates from India had filed a petition to shift to Oz, while 27,300 petitions were filed were from China &21,700 from the UK. Allegedly, it shows a major boost to the nation’s migration scheme.
The OECD data reveal a sell of 46.6% in the figure of individuals gaining citizenship of the nation. Reportedly, as many as 123,400 persons promised to get the nation’s citizenship during 2012-13, and this is the highest figure since 2011-12.Allegedly, there is an increasing trend of the citizens of India & China hunting for citizenship in Australia, for improved worldwide movement.
