Canada’s ‘Express Entry’ Permanent Residence Program Beginning in January 2015!

The Canada Immigration is going to launch a new immigration program which will be in action from January 2015 named as Express Entry Immigration. It is a program where the candidates can apply under new chances for the Federal Skilled worker program. Currently the applicants are applying under the FSWP directly, but after the implementation of new immigration program the candidate can apply online. They need to submit their application by making an online profile and applying, to immigrate under the application pool.

Under this immigration program the candidate will be selected by the:

• The Federal government or
• The provinces or
• The Union territories or by
• The employers

By the application pool and will get an invitation application where the applicant need to apply for same in 60 days.

While in the immigration program of 2014 the candidates were selected on the basis of application submission. The one who submits first get served at priority level by fulfilling some of the minimum given criteria:

• The applicant who needs to immigrate for the permanent resident Visa for FSW have to hold at least one year full time job from the occupations which are eligible. If a candidate has not gotten the one year continuous job, then they can show the work experience of the last 10 years that must be equivalent to the paid work of 1 year.
• The applicant needs to be well qualified so that he can get settled with the labor market as a full time or permanent job holder in Canada.
• The applicant must be qualified by holding a PhD degree or must have gone through any 2 years higher level study from any famed institute.
• The applicant must possess knowledge of languages with smooth flow like English and French so that they can get settled easily.
• The candidate must also secure at least 67 credits. 

The candidates who want to apply for Canada Immigration under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) 2014 their application will be accepted till 1st January 2015 and the selection will be done on the basis of education where the applicant must get up to 25 points, have secured at least 28 points in language test that is official language must have 24 points and unofficial may have 4 points. The applicants also must get 15 points under the head of work experience for the paid work and for the age criteria must get at least  12 points. There are other criteria also like minimum 10 points required for the arranged employment and adaptability.

After getting passed through above requirements the candidate also needs to have sufficient amount so that they can settle down in Canada easily as a Permanent Resident.  The funds are required as an applicant can become self dependent and can support their family too. Once a candidate is found to have sufficient amount for getting settled in Canada then they need to pass through some test like no dues clearance and medical checkup which will help the candidate to apply the benefit of holding Canadian citizenship like others.

Under the Express entry FSWP the processing time will be less as compared to the current one.
