However, all the programs are largely driven by the state specific needs. - Through the Express Entry – the skilled workers deemed qualified for federal migration scheme can be shortlisted by the authorities of the state provided the applicants express their intent to migrate to the state;
- Direct selection, entry through Express Entry – the state authorities also select certain people through their own state specific MPNP and tell them to create profiles of Express Entry. The applicants are eventually granted entry permits through EE system; or
- Absolute direct entry – The state authorities maintain their own independent selection system, through which they select the people for sponsorships. Such candidates do not need to apply through Express Entry, and instead, place their requests for permanent residence to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
- Skilled workers already working in the state and residing as temporary workers: The applicants residing and working in state as temporary workers need to present a qualified employment offer that is permanent in nature – and is issued by a qualifying state based employer. It is necessary that the personnel applying for state nomination for permanent residence through a permanent employment offer should have been working for the same employer for a stipulated period of time;
- Skilled personnel not residing in the state – other countries: such people need to score a minimum of 60 marks in the profile assessment test; and also demonstrate a strong link with the state by qualifying for either of deemed essential definitions;
- Business Investors – applicants intending to enter the state and parking finds in designated venues must file an EOI for the same; score a minimum of 60 marks in assessment process; and also satisfy certain pre-established criteria. The enthusiasts of this scheme also need to deposit a minimum security with the state government – that is returned after a stipulated period.
