People have dream of living their lives within the Canadian territory but not many get a chance to live their dreams. But this was before January 1, 2015. Four months since the system came into effect, the Citizenship and immigration canada (CIC) is all geared up to give a warm welcome to the three of the first Express Entry applicants who have successfully acquired PR through the newly introduced system.

Just four months down the line, the CIC Minister Chris Alexander is ready to welcome three of the first Express Entry applicants, namely, Emma Hughes, Yaoyao (Anita) Zheng and Xin (Frank) Zhao respectively as the latest Permanent Residents of the country.
Launched in the first week of January, Express Entry is a system to manage applications for various economic immigration programmes. It is a first electronic system, saves applicants from completing the tedious paper work. Applicants need to create an online profile and express their interest as to why they wish to live and work in canada.
Candidates, who successfully meet the eligibility criteria enter the Express Entry Pool, and on the basis of various factors are ranked against other applicants. Candidates with high points are likely to get an invitation to claim PR status online, and will have no more than six days to complete the application processing.
Since the first draw took place on January 31, there has been seven more draws with the very last draw taking place on April 10, and as per the records, the CIC is eager to conduct the ninth draw soon. The seventh draw was the third in succession under which CIC picked applicants without a qualifying job offer from a local employer and also state/provincial nomination.
The latest updates for the Canada Express Entry 2015 is that if you wish to live and work in Yukon then you need not to worry. Lately, the Canadian territory has successfully provided the details for the Express Entry Stream. For those not tuned in, Yukon is the smallest of the Canada’s three federal territories.
The territory has successfully increased the total allocation for the YNP from 190 to 250, with 60 of these can be used in conjunction with the Federal Express Entry System. Yukon employers–who are unable to find local skilled workers (Canadian citizens or Permanent Residence) in order to fill the job openings–can now easily select applicants from the CIC Express Entry Pool of the potential applicants.
